UEAB Industries
UEAB Industries is the commercial arm of the University of Eastern Africa, Baraton (UEAB), established to support the University's mission through sustainable production, service delivery, and community engagement. Guided by Christian values, the Industries operate across diverse sectors that promote wholesome living, food security, and economic empowerment.
Our operations include a dairy farm and vegetable gardens that provide fresh, high-quality produce; a bakery renowned for its brown bread, widely loved across the region; a snackette that serves daily meals to staff; a water bottling plant producing safe, clean drinking water; and a supermarket that meets the day-to-day needs of the University community and surrounding areas.
Through these units, UEAB Industries remains committed to quality, sustainability, and service, contributing to the well-being of the University and the wider community.
Community Centre
Set within the serene, wooded environment of the University of Eastern Africa, Baraton in Chesyumei Sub-County, Nandi County, our Community Centre offers a peaceful retreat for rest, learning, and fellowship. The Centre features a 41-room guest house, a restaurant, and well-equipped conference facilities, providing comfort in a quiet natural setting.
